    Good

Quite good (as for this price range) and pretty big breakfast Quite big and spacious room as for this price range Quite comfortable bed Location is very nice, if you need to be close to Waterloo or London Bridge, as I needed

No Wi-Fi - yet they're clearly inform about it Terrible bathroom - dark; delapidating doors; problems with water flush in WC; after shower water was everywhere at the floor... The staff was very unflexible - the official hour of check-in was at 15.00, and I couldn't get in even 10 mins earlier, althoguh I was very clear it was very important for me The staff had serious problems with issuing a VAT invoice Although it was only end of September and about 10C at night, but there was pretty cold in the romm :(

    Exceptional

Great location , very good value and clean . The breakfast is amazing .it's student accomodation so dont expect luxury but perfect for a short stay . I was running around at meetings all day so just needed a place to crash at the end of the day . It's run by a very efficient and friendly group of students and during my stay was used for house volunteers and schools visiting the Paralympics . well recommended

It was perfect for what it is - it's not the Hilton but you don't expect that

    Superb

LSE Bankside House was very good value for money in Central London. It was reasonably comfortable and provided a wide variety of of breakfast.

With the windows open it was very noisy during the night, but with windows closed the situation was better.

I was made to feel like a student at a campus college. At the end the strict 6 items only for breakfast was appalling. Especially when you are paying over a hundred pounds a night.

    Very good

The room was very large and the beds comfortable. Area excellent.

I missed having a tv in the room and queuing for breakfast in the refectory was a bit uncomfortable.

It was clean and everything was in good condition.

Having to wait 20mins for breakfast was inconvenient. Serving staff were not friendly and there was no explanation as to what was or wasn't included in breakfast.

    Very good

Location, room size and cleanliness, provision of towels, tea facilities and toiletries appreciated. The shower was lovely and easy to control. I also very much appreciated being able to leave my bag for the day before getting the train home in the evening.

Extremely dissapointed such a venue is without wifi (although I knew this to be the case when I booked). Mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Queue too long in the morning for breakfast, so couldn't eat the first morning as I had to get to the job interview I came for, although I very much enjoyed the breakfast on the second morning when I wasn't in a hurry.

    Good

The location was fantastic, right behind Tate Modern, and considering that the price for a single room with a shared bath/shower was perfect. The reception staff were very friendly and skilled, though it might've been nice to mention that they'll be charging my credit card the second I checked in.

I did not mind the spartan room at all, but I must say that the bed springs were spectacularly lumpy and persistently digging into my rather weathered back. Also, the breakfast arrangement was confusing - I was told to pick up to six things from a list, which I did, only to be told (repeatedly) that I had taken seven things. Which was not allowed. My math was obviously different from the cashier's math.

    Good

Convenience of location and cheapness of room for one short night, while I went to the Opening ceremony of Paralympics. It felt like Student accomodation, which was fine for my purpose.

    Superb

Never would I have expected such a dream place for this price. With a direct view of the Tate Modern, the Globe, the River and St. Paul's we couldn't have had a better and more central place. A short walk over Millennium Bridge took us to the North side. The rooms were unexpectedly spacious for London and again for this price. Breakfast with a choice of six items not including drinks, bread, butter, jam and honey is plenty and good quality. I wish this place was open all year round.
